Subject: Very slow Full Client
Feedback Type: Question
Product Area: Notes 8 Client
Technical Area: Open Mic
Platform: Windows XP client
Release: Notes and Domino 8 - GOLD
Reproducible: Always

I use a Core2Duo (1.8 GHz) notebook with 2 GB RAM / XP SP2 / Symantec AV Enterprise disabled.

Starting the Notes client takes about 35 seconds. After login it takes another 18 seconds to open the mailfile.

Also open and close document is much slower then in v7.

What are the hardware specs for a N8 fullclient ?
Any chance to run that on a Terminal Server ?

In my opinion the product is not ready to use ...
